This Saturday, the Wesley Foundation is hosting a Halloween Costume Party. It is set to have a spider theme. They have all kinds of fun activities planned including a costume contest, a picture scavenger hunt and a possible trick-or-treat contest. There will be desserts and drinks provided. This week was interesting as we did something we haven’t done before. We highlighted a sports “story” for the main topic of this week’s issue. We wanted to do a cover story over Natalie Johnson, who is a Senior volleyball player here at WTAMU. We wanted the front cover to have more of a Sports Illustrated look for this issue.

The Buffaloes’ cross country team tallied 144 points, capturing sixth place at the 2009 Lone Star Conference Cross Country Championships hosted by West Texas A&#38;M University.

For the fourth consecutive year, the West Texas A&#38;M University Symphony Orchestra will present a live-cinema performance.
