The West Texas A&M Buffaloes claimed the Wagon Wheel trophy for the fifth-consecutive time on Oct. 10 at Kimbrough Memorial Stadium.
The Buffs defeated the Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds, 34-24 in the Lone Star Conference matchup. The win elevates WT’s overall record to 2-5 (1-2 LSC South), while ENMU drops to 2-5 overall (0-3 LSC South).

The cast and crew of the Branding Iron Theatre opens its season with perfomances of Fiddler on the Roof. The musical was selected to help mark the centennial of the universty. Both students and faculty will be featured in the production. The musical is considered one of the most endearing musicals of all time and will consist of many familiar songs. There are several perfomances throughout the next two weeks. So there are plenty of chances to go see it.
