Dr. Robin Capt, Assistant Professor in education, was killed in a plane crash outside of Amarillo on Monday, Nov. 11.
According to a university news release, the single-engine plane was reported missing around 2 a.m.
“Dr. Capt was an outstanding faculty member, who was dedicated to her students and to the college,” Dr. Eddie Henderson, dean of the College of Education and Social Sciences, said.
Dr. Capt’s husband and her son, William Capt II, were also killed in the crash. William, 19, was a pre-med major at WTAMU.
