Neverblu, a local band, is composed of WTAMU’s students Don Stalling, Carlos Mireles and Eric Brown.  Brian Dodson, another bandmate, is still a student in high school.

The lead singer/songwriter, Don Stalling, has been playing music with Brian Dodson for three years.  A year ago, Carlos Mireles joined the band after meeting Stalling at WT.  Two months ago Eric Brown became a part of the band after meeting Mireles through 91.1 F.M, WT’s radio station.

Mireles said a friend inspired him to join a band.

“My friend won a talent show, and I wanted to be cool like that,” Mireles said.

In early summer 2010, Neverblu released their newest album, Joshua.

“This is a concept record, I wrote songs that created a character, and then we named the character,” Stalling said.

The band has been filming a music video for Wolf, more commonly known as track 05.  They are planning on submitting the video to the National Broadcasting Society Contest on Dec. 10.

The video was recorded here on campus in the AT&T HD Studio.  The band’s biggest focus is on their music and having fun.
