West Texas A&M University held its second of three hearings on possible tuition increases. The first meeting was held 2:30 Monday at the Amarillo Center. Tuesday’s meeting was at the JBK Legends. Students, faculty and media were in attendance
Dr. Gary Barnes, Vice President for Business and Finance, began the meeting with some background on WT’s current financial situation. Afterwards WT President, Dr. Patrick O’Brien, explained the reasons why the school was considering a tuition increase. Finally, O’Brien opened the floor to questions from faculty and students.
