Students at WTAMU spent the last week of the spring semester without the comfort of knowing that McNuggets and Big Macs awaited them across the street. McDonald’s closed down for renovations this past summer and a new stone shrine to Ronald rose from the rubble.
Customers can now enjoy their food in a comfortable setting complete with televisions, a coffee lounge and Wi-Fi. Other renovations include a faster, more efficient kitchen for the employees, a double-lane drive-thru, and a new and improved PlayPlace for the kids.
The re-opening has been a source of both entertainment and bargains for Canyon’s residents. The children can now enjoy themed “Family Nights” which will continue throughout the upcoming weeks, themes including “Wacky Sports Night” and a luau.
Keeping their older cliental in mind, a Madden Tournament will be held this Saturday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Prospective players need to go to www.connectamarillo.com for more information.
McDonald’s is back and ready to meet the needs of all patrons of Canyon and WT.
